The organization was originally created to encourage voter registration specifically targeted towards Native Americans in Oklahoma.
The organizational concept has grown to include finding ways to empower Native people to become part of the poitical process that effects issues of Natives from health care and education to issues of inclusion. It has also begun to expand out of Oklahoma.
